Directions to Zap Laser Clinic
Access is via private entrance from the street. Zap Laser Clinic is situated on the first floor of The Corner House, adjacent to Integrated Design Consultants.
Parking
There is secure private parking to the rear of the building for approximately 20 vehicles. At peak times, additional parking is located in the side road (St John’s Road) or diagonally opposite in the car park in front of the fire station.
Travelling by Car
From M4 Junction 11, Madejski Stadium – 5.8 miles / 12 minutes
Take the dual carriageway signposted A33 to Basingstoke. After 230 yards continue straight ahead at the first set of (new) traffic lights keeping in the right hand lane. Approximately 0.2 miles, still in the right hand lane, turn right at the next set of (new) traffic lights, signposted Mortimer/Grazeley. Follow this road for about 4 miles passing Wokefield Park until you come to a mini-roundabout. Cross the mini-roundabout (2nd exit) and travel up the hill into the village of Mortimer, passing over the second mini-roundabout and pass the Horse & Groom pub (on your left). 100 yards later, at St John’s Church, turn left into West End Road and Zap Laser Clinic can be found on the left hand side on the corner of St John’s Road just pass McColl’s Newsagent.
From M4 Junction 12, Sava Centre, Calcot – 4.9 miles / 10 minutes
Take the dual carriageway, signposted Theale A4, Pangbourne A340 and Station. Continue for 300 yds and cross the roundabout, signposted Pangbourne and Newbury, keeping in the left hand lane. At the second roundabout, take the second exit, onto the A4 Newbury. At the Spring Inn Pub, turn left (signposted Police Training College, Sulhamstead and Ufton Nervet). Continue along this road over the railway bridge, over the canal and travel up Sulhamstead Hill for about 2 miles, passing by the church on a sharp right hand bend and then through Ufton Nervet. Follow this road to the end until you come to a T junction. Turn left, and 50 yards later turn right. Follow this road to the end to another T junction. Turn left, and then immediately right onto Victoria Road. At the mini-roundabout turn right into Stephen’s Road and then at the next mini-roundabout turn left into West End Road. Zap Laser Clinic is on the right hand side just past the Pharmacy and opposite the Methodist Church.
Travelling by bus from Reading Town Centre
Board the 2/2A bus at Reading Station. The bus will travel south along the Bath Road, passing through Burghfield until it reaches Mortimer, approximately 30 to 40 minutes later depending on stops. Disembark at St John’s Church opposite the Horse & Groom Pub. Cross over the road turn and right towards St John’s School and Church. Pass McColl’s newsagent and Triangle Travel and cross over the unmade road (St John’s road) and you will find Zap Laser Clinic on the corner, approximately 250 metres from bus stop and only a 2 minute walk
Travelling by train from Reading Town Centre
Trains depart Reading Station at 7 and 39 minutes past the hour and arrive 10 minutes later at Mortimer. Leave the station and turn left. At the mini-roundabout turn left up the hill for about 1 mile passing St John’s School and Church. Pass McColl’s newsagent and Triangle Travel and cross over the unmade road (St John’s road) and you will find Zap Laser Clinic on the corner, approximately 15 minute walk from the station. Alternatively there is a Mortimer Link Bus that departs Mortimer train station at peak times at 16:28, 16:53, 17:23, 17:53, 18:22 and 18:53 Monday to Friday which disembarks at the Horse & Groom pub.
Travelling by train from Basingstoke
Trains depart Basingstoke at 7 and 37 minutes past the hour and arrive 11 minutes later at Mortimer, passing through Bramley. At the mini-roundabout turn left up the hill for about 1 mile passing St John’s School and Church. Pass McColl’s newsagent and Triangle Travel and cross over the unmade road (St John’s road) and you will find Zap Laser Clinic on the corner, approximately 15 minute walk from the station. Alternatively there is a Mortimer Link Bus that departs Mortimer train station at peak times at 16:28, 16:53, 17:23, 17:53, 18:22 and 18:53 Monday to Friday which disembarks at the Horse & Groom pub.
